Bring your creative ideas to life at New Circle and our brands!
At New Circle, we work every day towards a sustainable future by developing innovative biobased raw materials. But we do more than that! During your internship, you will not only work on developing new, innovative products at New Circle, but also help get those products ready for market. That makes your work varied, creative and challenging.
Are you passionate about innovation and sustainability, do you have a keen eye for opportunities, do you enjoy working with early adopters, and would you like to learn how to develop an innovation and bring it to market? Then this internship is your chance to develop your talents further in a young, dynamic team and make a real impact.
What will you be doing?
As an intern in certification and regulatory compliance, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of creative projects. Your tasks:
- Product: Help develop a biobased, demountable adhesive for the roofing industry. Starting from an overview of certifications, you will identify which certifications the biobased adhesive needs to meet. Drawing on New Circle’s network, you and your experienced internship supervisor will draw up a plan of action to obtain these certifications. Together, you will investigate which laws and regulations it must comply with under the Dutch Building Decree (Bouwbesluit). Think of standards such as ISO/TC 61, KIWA BRL 1511, KOMO, EN 335, the Declaration of Performance (DoP) and CE marking.
- Early adopters: Together with the early adopters already selected, you will determine the required working method in the field. Help develop the most effective working method, accepted by the market, for New Circle’s biobased, demountable adhesive.
- Packaging: Examine the product against various types of legislation and regulations. What requirements must the packaging, installation instructions and technical specifications meet?
- International: Which legal and regulatory requirements must be met abroad, such as TÜV, EPB and ISCC Plus?
- Sustainability: Research which requirements the product must meet to obtain sustainability certificates such as Breeam, ISCC Plus, NTA 8080, Well/DGBC, Lead and an LCA with an MKI value.
