Bert is an indispensable link within New Circle. Every day he works on the development of our biobased products, customer contact and general business operations. With his many years of experience, he brings a wealth of practical knowledge to our team.
According to Bert, the biggest misconception about biobased construction is that it is expensive. The societal costs, such as pollution and healthcare costs, are often not attributed to a product today. Once you factor those in, biobased is actually the logical choice.

Bert’s tip for new employees is to simply be yourself and not be afraid to ask questions. If you take the initiative early on, things only get easier for you! Most important of all, Bert believes, is that you feel welcome. That is central at New Circle.
Outside work, my hobbies are going to all kinds of sporting events, going to concerts, enjoying life, cooking, drinking wine, getting to know other cultures and making my contribution to society.
