Introducing Lauren Visser, the driving force behind our marketing. Lauren mainly leads all our marketing activities and supervises the employees and interns who focus on them.
With his strategic eye, he makes sure our products are positioned in the market as effectively as possible. He does this with great conviction, because he knows the world is better off when we build with biobased materials. During his career at New Circle, Lauren would like to develop further in leading and coaching the team.
“The biggest misconception about circular and biobased construction is that many people simply have no idea what it actually involves. As far as I’m concerned, this subject deserves a lot more attention.”
He says that what he enjoys most about working at New Circle is working with products that contribute to a better world on a large scale. “And we do that with a team that really loves being here. It doesn’t get any better than that, does it?!”
Lauren describes the atmosphere in the office as informal, but serious when it needs to be. We work hard on our mission, but there is always room for good relationships and a pleasant working atmosphere.
This is the tip he would give every new employee to settle in quickly: get a round of coffee in for the rest of the team. It’s the fastest way to make friends at work.
“In my free time I like going to the gym, watching football, enjoying nature or having a nice craft beer.”
Finally, what people don’t know about me is that I’m absolutely crazy about pigs. The pig is my spirit animal, no doubt about it!
