Internships

Interning at New Circle

Learn how circular construction works in practice

New Circle is recognised by SBB, the Dutch foundation for cooperation between vocational education and the labour market, as an accredited work-based learning company. Students can do an internship with us and work on real projects, from the market launch of our biobased adhesive to the online visibility of the Roof Edge System. You see at first hand how a circular construction economy works in practice.

Interns are supervised by colleagues who work in the field every day. You collaborate with different disciplines and have the freedom to develop in the areas you want to learn more about.

Opportunities

Types of internship

In our team portraits, interns describe what they are working on. Internships at New Circle cover areas such as:

Marketing, communications and e-commerce

Working on e-commerce, digital communications and social media. One intern, for example, wrote a communications plan to automate our email correspondence.

Design

From banners and documents to the design of new packaging for our biobased adhesive.

Research and strategy

For example, benchmarking our visibility among wholesalers or writing a business plan that we can put straight into practice.

Product development

Helping to develop our biobased adhesive and the corner profile, right down to the technical drawings.

Education

Working with education

We are keen to share our knowledge with the next generation. That is why we work with institutions in Dutch secondary vocational (MBO) and higher professional (HBO) education:

  • Talland College in Heerhugowaard: our SBB accreditation marked the start of our collaboration with MBO education.
  • Avans Hogeschool in Breda: lecturers and graduating students contribute to our JTF project for a demountable biobased adhesive, including peel tests in the Avans laboratory.
  • NHL Stenden Hogeschool: students on the Future Ready Business programme researched how to bring our biobased adhesive to market.
  • Inholland is one of our partners.
