Our biobased corner profiles are part of our biobased roof edge system, which was developed as a sustainable alternative to traditional aluminum roof edge systems. It is specifically designed for extensive sedum roofs. The corners—available in two types of inside corners and two types of outside corners—ensure a clean and functional connection along the roof edge.
The use of the roof edge system prevents substrate from being washed away. As such, it is an essential component of a stable, low-maintenance, and future-proof green roof system.
The corner is made from bio-based HDPE with a bio-based content of 98%. Thanks to the use of renewable raw materials, the profile not only delivers excellent technical performance but also has a demonstrable positive environmental impact. With a CO₂ footprint of –1.97 kg CO₂-eq per kilogram of material, the product actively contributes to reducing the environmental impact of green roofs.
No compromises on functionality or appearance
Thanks to the material’s dimensional stability and impact resistance, the corner profile is resistant to weather conditions and temperature fluctuations. This results in a long technical service life of approximately 50 years, without compromising functionality or appearance. The roof edge profile is fully recyclable and is part of a circular material flow.
The profile is suitable for use on roofs without a roof curb and can be used to separate vegetation, substrate, and vegetation-free zones. In this way, it contributes to a neat and durable edge finish for the green roof and ensures that the roof structure remains stable over the long term.
